Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Details:

Private Rheumatology Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time Bilingual CMA.
100% outpatient clinic.
Will Need Proficient Knowledge in Prior Authorizations of Biologicals.
Provide general support for the clinic and have proficiency in the following.
Patient intake, including recording medications, medical history, vitals, etc.
Discussion of abnormal labs and imaging results with patients.
Call in prescription medications.
Basic knowledge of lab values and imaging studies.
Familiarity and experience with EHR systems (ECW knowledge is a plus).
Manage refill requests.
Manage the coordination of new start medications.
Injection administration is a plus.
Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
Availity knowledge is a plus.
Insurance verification.
Pay based on experience.
